Chickens Massive Choco Flake Cake |

Ingredients for the sponge-
110g/4oz butter or margarine
110g/4oz caster sugar
2 medium eggs
110g/4oz self raising flour
2 tablespoons of Cocoa direct hot choc
1 flake
Ingredients for the topping-
140g/5oz butter, softened
280g/10oz icing sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
a few drops food coloring
2 flakes
1 and a half/2 tablespoons of Cocoa direct
hot choc
Method -
Ok make your Victoria sponge in the usual
way, cream the caster sugar and butter
together til smooth, then beat in one egg,
gradually folding in half of the flour.. then
chuck in the second egg and fold the rest of
that flour in to make a nice smooth mix with
[hopefully] a load of air bubbles through it.
Beat that shiz. Add the cocoa powder, crush
up your flake and add that in too. Beat that
shiz again.
Bake it for 20 to 25 mins on gas mark 4,
180c.
So whilst that is baking, you can make your
butter icing, mix the butter with the icing,
and once that it smooth and lovely, add in
the cocoa powder, and of course your crushed
up flake.
Once your sponge bit is done in the oven,
leave it to cool. After that, slater it in
the butter icing, crush the other flake and
cover the icing with that, voila-
Chickens massive choco flake cake is done and
you can eat the whole thing to your self with
a nice cup of tea

Nexus there is no fat free version I am
afraid, but if you just have this on a Sunday
or some thing the you should be alright
Ive been cutting the sugar for the past two
months but still... well... you can always
make room for cake It is delicious youve
gotta bake one ! |
