There have been clashes in the Egyptian
capital Cairo between police and pig farmers
trying to stop their animals being taken for
slaughter, reports say.
More than 300 people threw stones and bottles
at police, who responded with tear gas and
rubber bullets.
The authorities are carrying out a mass pig
cull in what they at first said was a
precaution against swine flu but now describe
as a general health measure.
UN health experts have criticised the move as
unnecessary and a mistake.
There have been no cases of swine flu in
Egypt.
Pig-farming and consumption is limited to
Egypt's Christian minority, estimated at 10%
of the population.
On Saturday, health officials began the
slaughter in earnest, moving in on a city
slum where rubbish collectors are said to
keep around 60,000 pigs.
The slaughter is expected to take around a
month

well the suject matter title was a kind of
pun referring to animals of a porcine nature
that live in Egypt and an alternative name
for the Egyptian Constabulary or "the fuzz"
as we would call them |

Theyr'e none too fussy on dogs either,
especially black one's. They hate Jews,
Christians,apostates, women who don't do as
they are told, pictures of living creatures,
liberal democracy - in fact some of them
behave like rabid dogs in Afghanistan/Swat
Valley etc. But what the hell! As long as
Allah decrees it. |

girl under 10
im still trying to come to terms with a
religious idiot that does that and then gets
the admiration of so many other idiots
at least in the christian religions, they
ostracise the clerics and choir masters that
abuse children |
