Hi, can anyone help (i don't know much about
the technical stuff!). Opened computer this
morning and a yellow shield with exclamation
mark in front of icon for internet. Clicked
and it said limited connectivity. Did
everything i could in 'troubleshooting' but
no good. So am hooked up with ethernet cable
argggggggh! Can anyone help with a solution
please? |

have you tried turning the router off for 30
seconds then back
your modem is ok as you can get on the
internet |

it was just a yellow shield with a black
exclamation mark on it. i'm connected still
with the ethernet cable |

REASON I ASKED ABOUT THE CROSS ON THE SHIELD
WAS:
MY VIRUS PROTECTION IS SYMANTEC ANTI VIRUS
AND THEIR ICON IS A YELLOW SHIELD WITH A
BLACK CROSS |

it may be one of few things--if you go to
control panel select system then hardware
then device manger if you have a yellow q
mark against any of your net work adaptors,
right click and reinstal them. make sure you
are connected with your cable to the internet
when you do as it will search all the
available driver updates. if this doesnt work
let me know |
