Hiya, Any idea why both a 1gb and 2gb micro
sd card may have been suddenly write
protected themsleves after being a Nokia
6300?
I used them with a SD adaptor and made sure
the lock wasnt on. you can read the cards
just not add stuff to them.
It says "write protected either unprotect or
use a new card"
Ive tried re formatting them too with no
success anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

only reason i ask is that if its a laptop and
not a REAL computer lol....
it may have a built in card reader....
if its a real pc and has a card reader
plugged into usb.....
uninstall the card reader, then
reinstall....
if thats no good, try to format it, but not
quick....
erase everything, a quick format only clears
the file system not the data...
never had this problem, but thats the first
thing i would try..... |

ahaaaaa....
i use Xp....
but vista has all kinds of copy protection
and security on it....
(tis why i dont have it)
you may have to go into permissions on vista
and that may do it....
you tried to copy songs to a card on vista,
that may have brought up the copy protection
in vista.....
