Should the cheating scumbag be allowed to
represent Britain at the Beijing Olympics?
A few years ago he was banned for life from
running at the Olympics after testing
positive for anabolic steroids.
Since then he's admitted to taking other
banned drugs in the past to give himself a
competitive edge.
Do you think he should be able to deprive
another British hopeful of their place
despite his past or would you like the ban to
stay?
A judge will announce a decision on whether
he can run at the Olympics (assuming he
qualifies for the GB team) on the 16th of
July. |

Thank God for common sense.
I hope the British Olympic Association
strengthen their rules now so future cheats
stand no chance of getting their lifetime
bans overturned. |

that's a sensible decision.no harm to him as
a person but he's no athlete and as others
said,he'd be denying a hard working,honest
athlete from their dream.that's simply unfair
to do. |

I believe what chambers said no one can win
an olimpic medal without drugs maybe the odd
exception. Who knows maybe roll model
athletes like kelly holmes and daily thompson
took drugs and was never caught. |

True linford was banned twice but there was
doubts on both occasions. But that fact
someone is tested hundreds of times means
nothing like marion jones managed to pass all
her tests she ever had. We will never no whos
honest and who isnt i kind of go with
chambers belief that nearly all modern day
olimpic athletic champions have used drugs at
some stage. |

If the law says you go to prison for 30 yrs
for murder and u murder soemone you expect to
serve 30 years he new the rules before he
used drugs and the rules was a life ban |

He didn't sound very remorseful in an
interview I just watched on the BBC News.
If he did go to the Olympics and subsequently
won a gold medal would anyone actually
believe he'd won it legitimately.
I doubt it.  |

i say if you need drugs or any tablets to
cheat you are not a true natural athlete, so
you shouldn't be able to compete in the
olympics at all, as once a cheat always a
cheat.

hmm... he should be allowed.
these days im not gonna be surprised if the
2012 athletes are all found to have taken
some form of drug.
and chris, fix the title 
as a struggling pedantic and OCD (sorta) i
feel im gonna kill if it doesnt get sorted.

But the drugs themselves dont win the gold
medal..
they're like vitamins, but a lot more
powerful.
they're only illegal because of 2 reasons,
continuously taking them has nasty side
effects (eg that american whos arm burst),
and not all the competitors take them, i
mean.. if they all did, they cant ban
everyone. |

So... he should be given a chance. 
if he's any good at what he does, he should
get the chance to do the olympics and do them
without drugs. |

right outcome,No way should he allowed to go
to china.
once a cheat always a cheat! now all we
gotta do is suss out who else is on hmm.
wont be hard with the women, be the women who
need a shave and smell of testerone.
