Trying to download an update to an add-on I
have for my Firefox web browser but it keeps
getting blocked.
I checked the Download window and it says...
[name of download program]
The download has been blocked by your
security zone policy - [name of download
website]
Where can I alter the Firefox security zone
policy?
I've checked the option tabs but don't see
anything that might be preventing the
download.
I also tried to download an update to Adobe
Shockwave Player but it blocked that too.
Grr!! 
Any ideas? |

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox
last night, starting to wish I hadn't.
Apparently it was 36 months months in the
making. 
Would have thought they'd have beta tested
the bloody thing and sorted basic problems
like this by now.

tools > options > security
warn me when sites try to install add-ons
click on > exceptions
addons . mozilla . org (nospaces)
status allowed

i just recently downloaded firefox and have
found it much better then IE in the fact that
you can run sevral tabs at once and the add
ons but reading this has scared me a little |

was that not a p!ss poor film from the early
80s starring clint eastwood who had to sneak
into the soviet union (pesky commies) and
steal a jet fighter with the aid of an
orangutan who gave a motorcycle cop the
middle finger when he tried to pull them over
in their aeroplane and when they got back
home safely they had some spaghetti hoops? on
toast unless im very much mistaken.

no i think ur right, the monkey thing wasnt
in firefox, no he was in tarzan lord of the
rings wi that guy, oh what was his name, oh
yeah, george of the jungle yeah that was is
the monkey thing was in tarzan lord of the
rings starring george of the jungle.

my powers are indeed weak.
yeah i remember now, oh how my dead gran used
to love that larry grayson when she was still
alive, i always used 2 get mixed up whether
he was little or large, oh how me and my dead
gran used 2 chortle and guffaw as larry
grayson used to interrupt supersonic sid when
he was trying to sing a song with his
oversized specs and his bow tie, oh larry
large or larry little how me and my dead gran
miss ur saturday night impressions of deputy
dawg when she was still alive i mean.
dont even get me started on the dukes of
hazzard wi daisy duke in her little cut off
denim shorts and them 2 guys from starsky and
hutch driving about in their fast car, the
general george.
see me, i loved the general george when i was

wasnt it richard and judy that were chasing
the a-team? or was it just richard stilgoe on
his own with a piano and a beard?
mr mcghee dont make me angry, you wouldnt
like me when im angry he used to say before
spinning around dead fast and making people
tell the truth by throwing a lasoo around
them and deflecting bullets with his metal
wrist bands. then i switched over cos john
mcenroe was playing tennis and he had funny
