Right I'm gonna lay it all out now...
Over the past weeks there has been so much
sniping, backstabbing, lying and fighting
that has had me be drawn into it and I have
had enough.
If the people in the 30's room, who are my
friends, cannot either:
- ignore the people they dont like; or
- get along and drop all the crap involving
me (past or other issues I dont care about)
then I will walk away despite my love for you
all.
I have enough on my plate at the moment (and
you all know about it) to deal with, I should
not have to worry about this too.
I don't want to give an ultimatum cause its
not who I am, I value every second I have
spent talking and getting to know you all and
it would break my heart and soul to say
goodbye permenantly but I have to say this to
try and make my life easier.
Like I said, issues that have nothing to do
with me I wont care about. I accept there are
going to be as not everyone gets along. But I
wont stand for me being brought into
arguments.
Either you choose to drop the crap involvng
me or I walk away forever. I dont think its
too much to ask from my friends and hope you
value my friendship as much as I value
yours.
There, I have said what I wanted to and I
hope it is clear to those that know me. |

Its easy to fall into one room but if there
are several ppl in there givin u crap or its
boring or for whatever reason , its better
to just leave. Loads of rooms on here to move
to. |

I think that this subject needs to be
broadened out to the rest of the chatters in
30s, not just specifically you (although I
realise you have a very valid point)
The atmosphere in the 30s room and also the
enjoyability of chatting in there has, in
recent weeks and months deteriorated.
Drastically.
I've used 30s on UKCB for about 3 years now
and I used to enjoy chatting in there with
the regs.... but now I only come into 30s to
check on certain friends of mine I have no
other way of contacting.
This isn't because of an influx of perves....
rather the emergence of a hell of a lot of
backstabbing and [censored]iness and
gossip-mongering amongst the chatters in
30s.
There also appears to be a group of chatters
who come into 30s purely to stir up trouble.
They come in and start fights within minutes
of logging in. They are saying the nastiest
things I have ever read on a computer screen
(and I am no prude or naive innocent little
child) name-calling, insults, using people's
pasts against them... it's awful.
Yes you can say it's all a line of font on a
screen, but there are people behind those
screens with feelings... and people are
coming in here and talking cr*p about others
and abusing them and starting rumours etc.
The reprecussions of their actions are
causing problems in not only MY life but the
other people mentioned in the gossip - my
friends.
This atmosphere of nastiness and
[censored]iness and ugliness pervades what
used to be a fun and friendly room.
Not sure what can be done about it - more
mods in there? stricter moderation? .... I
don't honestly know. I just wanted to get my
thoughts out on the 'page'... I know that the
room won't go back to how it was 3years ago
and that it's evolved and changed, but it
could still be a good place and an enjoyable
place to chat in....

A joke and a laugh is all cool .. but is it
really necessary to get [censored]y and
personal -- some of the arguments I have seen
have been appalling. I just think it's
unnecessary. I come here to chat and chill.

something like that. In fact I'd've been
disappointed that you if you hadn't.
I just put my views 'out there' for people to
read. If you want to disagree, then totally
fine by me. Your opinion is yours. I just
