senor_rojo Date: 2008-05-16 Time: 14:41:59	not long til it kicks off (see wot i did there?) but with none of the home nations there, not even the all mighty all conquering world beating champions elect ingalund who is everybody gonna b shouting for? i choose Spain cos of their Liverpool connection and ive always sort of liked them since they hosted Euro 84 seein as i wrote the forum i want Netherlands as well just cos i do. ive always liked them, their players and fans always add something to a tournament. so i will be shoutin for Spain and the Netherlands. Pick your own.

0rs0n84 Date: 2008-05-16 Time: 14:45:27	Loco_Rojo im with you mate, Holland and Spain, Cant pick between them, Spain as with your reason a strong connection with LFC but I have always watch and supported Holland and The non flying dutchman was one of my fave players even though he neevr donned the famous red jersy of LFC.

aegis1 Date: 2008-06-05 Time: 17:00:39	my money's on holland... it's a tough group (with italy, france and romania), but if they survive that, they've got as good a chance of winning as anybody!...lol well, ok...as a football pundit, they've a good striker in van niesteroy...with kuyt, van persie, babbel, and van der vaart in support, and robben on the wing... not to mention van der sar in goal, and marco van basten as coach... with so many "van"s - they're bound to be going places!!!...lol

senor_rojo Date: 2008-06-05 Time: 17:37:30 Edited by:chris20	think ur right aegis, i think/hope that the dutch will come through that group with the italians at the expense of france and kelly's favourites romania ryan "the flying dutchman" babbel is out of the tournament with an ankle injury, the same as cannavaro for the italians. cant wait for it to get started, have heard a lot of tv and radio presenters sayin that they cant get up 4 it cos england arent there, some of us will enjoy it more now that we dont have to listen to how "great" they are. will probably still have to endure even tho they didnt make it. teams to qualify for knockout stages i think will be group a: portugal, czech republic group b: germany, croatia group c: italy, netherlands group d: spain and who knows or cares

chris20 Status: Admin Date: 2008-06-14 Time: 17:38:39	Another good game so far. Spain 1 Sweden 1 33 minutes gone. Spain look okay but I still think Holland have more firepower in their team. Seem to be better when it comes to penetrating defences too. No shortage of goals can come from the Dutch midfield let alone the strikers. I think that'll be the deciding factor.

senor_rojo Date: 2008-06-18 Time: 13:43:19	aww poor kelly, shes gutted cos her team got put out, never mind, now she can go back to travelling around leeds in her gypsy caravan and reading peoples fortunes in her crystal ball. only sort of balls she gets near nowadays the shrivelled up old prune that she is oh and pat on the back for me, ive done no 2 bad wi my predictions, i said that group a: portugal and czech rep (1 right) group b: germany and croatia (2 right) group c: netherlands and italy (2 right) group d: spain and who cares (1 and a bit right) tonight i have a wee sneaky feeling for the russians, so if they get thru im claiming 7 out of 8 qf - germans to come good against portugal croatia to beat turkey netherlands to beat russia/sweden spain to beat italy although i am wanting spain to win it i think that italy may scrape thru because they have been over the course before. germany v croatia netherlands v spain and kelly to shave her moustache
