nice little mistake to start, but one which
has spoiled the lives of millions
THE QURAN states 34:50
Say, If I err, I err only against myself;
and
if I am rightly guided, it is because of
what
my Lord revealed to me. Verily, HE is
All-Hearing, Nigh.'

This verse is logically wrong, independent
of
whether Mohammed was guided or not.

The first point is somewhat trivial. Muslims
are commanded in the Qur'an to take Mohammed
as their model, and therefore many Muslims
imitate him in the smallest details of life.
They dress like Mohammed, they use a miswak
to brush their teeth like Mohammed did, etc.
If Mohammed was wrong, then this would mean
a
life of unnecessary inconvenience for
millions of Muslims.
An enormous number of people will suffer
both
earthly and eternal loss if Mohammed was
wrong, in stark contradiction to Sura 34:50.

THERE can be no doubt that Sura 34:50 is an
objectively wrong statement. It is a plain
error in the Qur'an.

Does God make errors? Would God inspire a
statement as wrong as this one?

consider this 4:80
Whoso obeyeth the messenger hath obeyed
Allah,

Your error:

nice little mistake to start, but one which
has spoiled the lives of millions

THE QURAN states 34:50
"Say, If I err, I err only against myself;
and if I am rightly guided, it is because of
what my Lord revealed to me. Verily, HE is
All-Hearing, Nigh.'

This verse is logically wrong, independent of
whether Mohammed was guided or not.

My answer:

The disbelievers of makkah were saying to
Mohammed peace be upon him:
You erred when you left the religion of your
fathers.

So Allah told him to answer them:

Say, if I (really) err (as you see me and as
you hold out falsely), I err only against
myself (so this will not harm any one except
myself)
; And if I am rightly guided (as the
believers see me), it is because of what my
Lord revealed to me (they know that my acts
are not acts of someone who err, but acts of
someone who has been taught and guided by a
great power, the power of Allah, the wise).

That’s why Allah says in other surah:

[53;1-5]
1. By the star when it falls,
2. Your companion has neither erred, nor has
he gone astray,
3. Nor does he speak out of his own desire.
4. It is nothing but pure revelation revealed
by God.
5. The Lord of the Mighty Powers has taught
him,

I hope this answer is clear to be understood…

Your next error please…

thank you for you answer. I see you didnt
answer it at all IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER by
quoting from the qur'an.
This is going to be difficult
as , because of your closed mind you do not
even see a problem.
But you can answer this. As the answer is
directed to the disbelievers of Makkah ,
logically all of Allahs other revelations
that are addressed to a particular group YOU
are saying is for that group alone
AND DOES NOT APPLY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
?
but is not the verse just illogical , if you
read it in a book, a novel not to do with
faith . LOOK at rulers of the world
THEY MAKE A MISTAKE millions die Bush made a
mistake in Iraq and they are working to their
million.
