Do you ever cook any food using a microwave?
Is the end result edible & tasty?
I've got McCain Crinkle Micro Chips and
they're a bit mediocre.
Strange taste
Not even sure if they can be classed as
food.
Only thing I know of that seems to be okay in
a microwave is rice.
Any other microwavable foods that don't end
up soggy or tasting weird in a microwave?

Baked potatoes are okay. Popcorn is the only
thing besides rice that I really cook in the
microwave. I mainly use it for reheating
things.

great for heating things up from the previous
day, curries etc, also good for making
porridge, really quick.
Baked potatoes are okay but really need to be
finished off in a proper oven, and scrambled
eggs are fine but watch you don't nuke them
!!! |

I warm up dinners and cook the odd bowl of
peas or beans in it...
also scrambled eggs....
but apart from that , i wouldn't cook in them
...
sponge cakes , on the other hand do come out
better in the micro....
as for micro-wave -meal for ones ......
you can live on them but they taste like
sh!t

I just had a "Speedy Snacks" flame grilled
beef burger.
Ready in 55 seconds.
Got it from Iceland yesterday.
74% beef content.
Tasted okay but the burger roll was a bit
soggy.
You'd think in 2008 they'd have developed
better quality microwave food. |

You shop at Iceland
I'd have thought you'd be a Sainsbury's or
Tesco shopper lol.
Iceland do some pretty nice ready meals.
I like their Chinese egg fried rice, cripsy
shredded beef. Some of the Indian meals are
nice enough too.
£1.50 for the meal and £1 for the rice.
Good sized portions
Can't complain at that. |

Ooooooh, do they get all of your home
delivery orders right or is there usually
something missing?
Tesco could learn a lot from Iceland.
Those buggahs charge £5 for home delivery. |

Maybe if I stuff my mouth with Trebor Extra
Strong Mints before the snog I won't be able
to smell your breath Poppy.
Probably need to shove some up my nose too
but we'll come to that in due course.
I demand you drink a bottle or 2 of mouth
wash before coming near me.
Enjoy your icky baked potato.
I've got a fry up.
Fried smoked bacon
Fried mushrooms
Fried egg
Fried potato scones
Tastier than a sweaty microwave burger.
Health conscious Chris |
