Surgery is a permanent way to get rid of
them, though I personally think it definitely
isn't worth it unless it is absolutely
neccessary.
In many chemists you can get creams to reduce
the appearance of stretch marks, I'm not sure
how well they work. |

I have some on one of my love handles and on
the other one but they arn't as noticable.
Tbh with ya tho they don't really bother me.
I have them but so
I was in my mums and she had Bio-Oil so I put
some of that on my right one and it looked
like they had gone straight away but they
came back obviously coz its not miracle-oil
but I think if I was to put that on
consistantly then they would go.
So Bio-Oil. Check local retailers for
product such as boots, superdrug for a
dazzling 8.95 |

they sometimes take a few months to go silver
and lighter as opposed to the red colour they
are when theyre brand new.
bio oil reduces the appearance and cocoa
butter like sparkle said.
also bamboo oil helps... |

Well surgery is an option but say you were to
put on wieght again or get pregnant, they
will be back almost as soon as so if they are
from pregnancy and you want more kids theres
no point until you have stopped having baby,
but if your loaded then go for it. |

you could always try one of lush's massage
bars
they are made with cocoa butter and
essentials oils and are designed to help with
stretch marks, especially the one called
therapy, it's got neroli oil in it, very good
for stretchmarks, mine have nearly gone!
i tried that bio-oil but found it really
greasy and it didnt sink in as fast as i
would have liked.(and it costs loads!) |

my daughter has them on her thighs, due to
puberty!! she was extremely paranoid about
them when swimming, I bought rescue oil from
wilkinsons, similar to bio-oil but an awful
lot less expensive. it does work and if they
are fine it works pretty quickly but you have
to keep applying it I think. unfortunately I
feel that my own stretch mark problem is
past redemption |

From personal experience I can tell you
nothing really works but time when it comes
to stretch marks. Ever since I started weight
training years ago the top parts of my arms
have been covered in them, at first they
looked like a raspberry ripple, but theyve
since faded to slivery lines which are hardly
noticeable |

I didn't read everything so I don't know if
someone suggested this already. Body butter
creams/lotions have been proven to work. And
of course, IPL from your dermatologist. |

Intense Pulse Lighting Laser. It also
lightens dark spots such as elbows, or
freckles, or pimple marks. And it kills hair
roots permanently, so you can be hair-free.
Very nice alternative to shaving/waxing.
Although if accidents will happen, you can
end up burning your skin up to third degree. |

Considering the benefits, nope, I wouldn't
say that it's expensive. After all, it's a
session-per-session payment scheme most of
the time. It depends on how many stretch
marks you have or how long you've had them
which might determine how many sessions you
need. Or how hairy you are. Or how dark your
darkspot is. Effects can be seen on your
first session and then you'll see them to
gradually lighten as you continue with your
sessions. |
