I hate shaving with a passion
And wish God made beards go out of fashion
I think shaving is a pointless farce
And a permanent pain in the anus
At night I lie asleep & dream
Of a permanent mens depilatory cream
My misery would end at last
But Gilettes shares would plummet fast
The joyless ritual of soap & water
Why wasn't I just born a daughter?
Yet womanhood could end in tears
With dashed hopes & latent fears...
Several losses, precious few gains
Thrush, pregnancy & period pains..?
Being a woman sounds like no joke
I'm lucky that I'm just a bloke
I can at last now comprehend
My razor is my new found friend!
So if there's one grace thats worth
saving...
Perhaps it is the Joy Of Shaving
