Have you ever been & if so, would you go
again?

Was it as you imagined it to be?

Were most of the people that you met
friendly?

I read your answers Sparkle, just got me
thinking.

Not many big cities that appeal to me but NY
looks amazing.

Nah, members can submit quizzes and
questionnaires too or they could.

Not sure if they're still being added or not
but I'll ask and see.

mmm you have to have a slice of juniors
cheesecake, go to th eone underneath grand
central terminal.. id advise you to have one
of the many bus tours, there are about 5
different tours that cover different parts of
NY, but if you do that then you must do it
first thing in the morning as being sat on a
bus ( if you are on the top deck) when its
red hot isnt nice and there isnt much shade..
keep plenty of quarters on you for the guys
who throw bottles of water up to you when you
stop at the lights.
I used to subway and the bus services and
never had a problem or felt any danger. Be
aware of the queues to get on the ferry to go
to the statue of liberty, we waited over an
hour and half for the queues to go down! Try
and plan ahead to go up the empire state,
check the weather forecast as if its cloudy
then visability is reduced.. also check out
the flat iron building. If you fancy a good
steak then go to smith and wollensky, bit
pricy but nice!!

Best thing is, first time, it feels like
you're on a movie set, because you've seen it
all so often on TV or the cinema.

Oh, and you really DO walk around looking up
at the REALLY tall buildings - must annoy the
locals a lot!

out what areas to stay clear of and you'll be
fine....most barmen are too pleased to inform
you where to go and not to go....

Is Central Park gigantic & safe?

I've only seen it in movies and they never
seem to portray it in a very nice way.

What didn't you like about it Benibabe?

Are you not a city person.

I think... I might be a bit overwhelmed if I
went to NY. So much going on, looks like
organised chaos.

Can't help but be in awe at it though.
