I don't like this fairly recent development.
When two chaps meet up they should both
extend their right hands and shake hands. The
shake should last no longer than strictly
necessary. We didn't build an empire by
hugging each other all the time. If we aren't
careful we'll end up kissing each other like
the French, then where would we be? |

I really can't see how some can behave so in
such a narrow-minded manner, no offense but
this is yet another silly statement on this
forum.
There is nothing wrong with men exchanging
hugs. Infact I think it's a very positive
development. It shows that our society is
beginning to get over homophobia a little. In
the past, men didn't hug incase it was taken
to indicate homosexual behaviour.
This development shows that those who thought
this have some common sense and can see that
it does not in any way indicate sexual
behaviour. And if ever it does, well, what's
wrong with that? We are living in a century
where it really is time to be alot more
open-minded and grow up basically. Hugging is
a very nice, acceptable and affectionate
gesture, regardless of whichever genders are
involved in it. It's not very nice that men
always have to be "hard as nails and
insensitive" because life just isn't like
that. If they wish to show affection and
kindness towards each other through hugs and
whatnot then they can do so.
Women may be seen as the "gentler sex" but if
two women can hug each other without being
told it's inappropiate, men should be able to
do the same.
It really is time to wake up and smell the
coffee. |

Men arn't men anymore, we've turned into a
nation of weepy, self pitying, spineless
wimps. OoOOoooo but isn't it nice that he
shows his emotions awwww yes it is, it's
so sweet the ladies bellow...
We'll listen up fellas these bints are trying
to brain wash us. Make a stand eh?
A typical example is when the summer months
arrive and all of a sudden blokes start
wearing 3qtr length robinson cruesoe style
pants with flip flops (see flip flop thread)
bleach blonde rent boy hairstyles and henleys
t-shirts. A mate of mine (ex mate now) was
wearing FAKE TAN the other day OH HOW I
LAUGHED HAW HAW.
We've become a nation of big brother
watching, 5 fruit and veg a day eating
ponces. Utter no marks like "katie and peter"
and jade goody are given hero status by this
new age breed of slobs weve become.
Music is another thing, i mean why are people
like Mika and that talentless sloth "adelle"
allowed to make music please? How actually
buys this [censored]e? Own up eh?
It's upto me to make a stand and say the next
bloke i see wearing fake tan will be promptly
slapped.
The decline in peoples self respect is
breathtaking, i stumble across pictures of
people i knew from school (blokes) online and
there they are posing topless ACTUALLY POSING
doing like a posing stance, i mean wtf have
you all become?
Think long and hard about how ridiculous you
all look.

get stuck together like velcro.

should i shave on the day of travelling down
or just not kiss her as after all lets be
brutally honest here, she is a bit of a
munter.
shall i get wrecked by drinking 4 cases of
carlsberg special brew industrial strength
lager on the train on the way down so she
just looks all blurred to me and i also
wouldnt be responsible for my actions? |

In my opinion this topic is a wind up.
Perhaps I am wrong but it's so trivial that
it's hard to imagine it being a serious
thread at all.
If it is serious, it's worrying that there
are men who think like this. |

What's even more worrying Land is the fact
you would stop being friends with someone
because of what they choose to wear and their
style. It shouldn't make even the slightest
difference when you're already mates with
someone and if it does to you, the word
shallow seems to spring to mind. |
