nice areas 2 live in notts & dnt be blagging me!!
zimzimma Date: 2008-04-20 Time: 19:46:16	i'm looking 2 move bck 2 the midlands but dnt knw wot areas r nice 2 live i've got a rough idea of notts from what i've seen & been told of some areas 2 stay clear of but would like some ideas of nice areas nr the city centre i've found some propertys i like in hockley area n some in mapperley but been told be careful of mapperley cos goes into red light area n st annes.

skorpianuk3 Date: 2008-04-20 Time: 22:19:55	only go st anns if you wearing a bullet proof vest and carrying a gun, knife and any other weapons you can get your hands on lol but if you want nice areas close to the city hockley is about your best bet or you could try the rope walk they are with in walking distance of the city centre but if you want to be abit further out you could try west bridgeford. some parts of hucknall/nuthall/watnall are good and you are close to the big park and ride (trams) at phoenix park anything else just ask

mikesta_360 Date: 2008-04-26 Time: 19:48:48	theres good and bad in all areas, so i dont think you can say any area is good or bad, st anns gets a lot of bad press but i know people who own thier houses down thier and have never had any problems etc. (areas known to be slightly rough or run down are st anns, radford, strelly, bulwell, bulwell hall, top valley, aspley and some parts of baseford etc). but just because these areas get bad press etc it dont mean they are bad areas to live in, its all down to what facilities you want where you live and what tpe of area you want. if you want really nice areas go south of the river trent, ruddington, west bridgeford, wilford, gotham and main clifton or clifton village, but to live anywhere south of the river you need serious CASH! house prices in most of those postcodes cost a small bomb! also Arnold is nice and so are many of the boardering notts areas like hucknall etc.

crystalball Date: 2008-04-28 Time: 00:50:11	im not daft i knw wot areas 2 stay clear off like stans radford broxstowe ilkeston heanor ripley ........ things that make u go hmmmmmmmmmmm ....... if u think that ilkeston, heanor and riply are in nottingham, then i suggest u get yourself a sat nav or a map......... u will be lost otherwise....... they are in derby
