uploading photos?!!

Time: 06:18:02 		can anyone tell me why when i try to upload a
photo on here all i get is a blank white
screen after i submit the pic? Tried several
times now and nothing.

Time: 17:27:33 		Profile photos need to be in .jpg or .bmp
format and no bigger than 300KB - 400KB.

There have been some technical problems with
the site lately but it's more likely to be a
size or format issue I think.
