Hopkins is like Tyson, tries to scare
oppenents before getting into the ring.
But Joe is fearless. Hopkins has done his
best to avoid Joe over the years, but can't
get away from it this time. |

hopkins is no mug though a few years older.
first fight for calzaghe at L/H,so it's bound
to affect his movement and without stating
the obvious hopkins punches are bound to feel
heavier (i'm talking generally rather then
where they land position wise.)
hopkins is a very underated fighter,but
saying that when he fought tarver and
beat,tarver had to lose a lot of weight from
the rocky movie.
it's in america,against an american
fighter,with cortez as
referee,(hatton/mayweather ref)joe won't be
given any favours and won't be allowed to
slap like he normally does.
i saw him a few years ago up in manchester
against that bika who went onto win one of
the contender series.(not manfredo the blown
up light middle)wasn't that impressed.
i'm picking hopkins on points,mainly due to
the weight differential and the location.
hopkins is one of the modern legends,who with
the right promoter may have been a bigger
name to ppl other then boxing fans.
but saying that i thought macrinelli would
have beat haye..!!!so what do i know... |

for a laugh joe should put a horseshoe in his
boxing glove like the skinny one wi the funny
hair did in a laurel and hardy film when he
had a boxing match, and then start running
around the ring in a comical style run
holding his oversized shorts up when he
realises the gloves have been mixed up and
hopkins runs around the ring after him with
the horseshoe in his glove. id crease mysel |

He's fighting Barry McGuiggan  I thought he
was retired from fighting?? He is retired,
isn't he? Omg no way, he'll get beat. Is it

Was there ever a doubt that he'd do it. 
The big mouthed Yank is still trying to tell
the World he won the fight despite being
soundly beaten.
He looked knackered in round 6.
Time he retired.
Same for Calzaghe though. Everyone knows he's
a living legend so why carry on when he's
reached the top. |
