1. Debunking the "U.S. Government conspiracy
theory"
Just think, for the U.S. government to
conspire to keep UFOs and alien knowledge
from the general public, there has to be a
perfect intergovernmental world conspiracy.
North Korea - hates the U.S. but co-operates
with it on UFOs. Cuba - same thing, Old
Soviet Union during the cold war- same thing,
Many Arab countries - same thing. A lot of
countries are in constant conflict all around
the world, but when it comes to UFOs they are
united even when they are at war. If there is
an advantage to exposing the existence of
UFOs to irritant their enemies, they won't
take it.
Just think UFOs are uniting the world !!!!!
Let's face it, there is no government
conspiracy except when it may be useful for
the US military to keep the public thinking
it's weapons research are UFOs as an extra
measure of secrecy in case some of it's
citizen's inadvertently spot a secret
project.
Just within the past year some European
governments have completely disclosed
everything they know about UFOs. What kind of
evidence did they reveal? Same old
testimonial evidence with no real hard core
physical evidence.
2. Debunking the "Scientist are 'scared of
ridicule' theory"
According to UFO alien theorists, scientist
are afraid to admit that UFOs exist because
they are afraid of ridicule. But on the other
hand, Scientists cheat and lie to gain fame
and positions and grants for all kinds of
research and investigations. It's a big and
well known problem in the scientific
community.
So a discovery in UFOs would be a big thing
and would make any scientist world
famous.....yet virtually all scientists stay
away from this. Why? Because they know its
pseudo-science (belief system masquerading as
science) - and they know that people are very
foolish and can believe in anything - not
because they are "afraid of ridicule".
Why should any scientist be afraid of
ridicule if they can prove that UFOs and
aliens exist ?????
3. SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Life
U.S. government program)
The NASA used to spend millions of dollars to
study signals from alien worlds. Why if they
have some UFO hotrod parked out in the back
of the 'White House' would they have spent
all this money?
4. Evidence is only testimonial
The only evidence for the existence of aliens
and UFOs for the past 100 years or so is
simply people's testimonials. No hard
physical evidence has ever shown up. UFO
"enthusiasts" claim the government is
conspiring to keep it out of our hands.
Yet the U.S. government is a leaky sieve that
constantly loses secrets all the time. Other
governments also presumably conspire to keep
alien knowledge secret. But the U.S.
government can't control all these other
countries to prevent their UFO secrets from
leaking out. Despite the fact that there have
been claims of tens of thousands of aliens
coming here, there has not been a single
instance of an alien physical object falling
into the hands of an independent or
university lab.
The perfect conspiracy again?
5. 1950s stories
Stories of UFOs and alien spaceships abounded
in the 1950s. The Aliens were among us and
came from within the Solar system. They were
from Venus, Mars and the outer moons of
Jupiter and Saturn. The government as usual
was conspiring to keep this information from
us but the proof that they came from these
planets was out there somewhere. There were
even a few religions founded by this
phenomenon. Then the United States and Russia
started sending probes to explore these
planets and found them very inhospitable to
life, all of a sudden these aliens were
quietly moved out of the neighborhood to
other star systems. Now all aliens travel
faster than light and come from far away.
Of course the "proof" is still out there
somewhere just further away, thats all.
6. Radio waves
If there were Aliens and UFOs in other star
systems they probably would have been there
for thousands of years. That means that any
early communication technology like radio
waves would be floating around and traveling
to other stars for those same thousands and
hundreds of years. They should have reached
earth by now even before the aliens had,
since presumably radio waves communication is
usually invented before traveling between the
stars. But for some strange reason the alien
UFOs have gotten here first ???
We got the UFOs and the aliens first but not
their radio waves. As a matter of fact if
these aliens can travel faster than light
shouldn't these radio waves still be out
there ready to be received by our antennas.
Unless of course as in item No.5 above the
aliens had to be moved out of the near 1000
light year neighborhood and further away,
then our UFO "enthusiasts" could simply say
the alien's technology is so advanced they
simply beat their own radio waves to Earth. |

Thank god for that.
No offence but I can't be bothered reading
all of that but I am sick of people on here
saying there is ufos about and believeing
other people when they say that they have
seen them. They don't fecking exsist!!!! |

Hi Martyn, I have recounted my experience
only twice on here - 1 being my own thread
"What happened to me 1 summer evening" & more
recently on someone elses U.F.O thread. I
have experienced a siteing of a U.F.O but my
experience cannot even be explained away by
myself.... it wasn't a small blip in the sky
but a huge shimmering white triangle a few
inches above the grass on a field opposite
the park house we lived in, also this
triangle was higher than the tree's at the
side of it (alongside the edge of the field).
It then shot up into the air in a straight
line, miles & miles up, remained stationary
for a few seconds (even at that height you
could still distinguish its triangular
shape)...but then it shot up again & although
I'd visually tracked it, when it abruptly
stopped again it looked like 1 of the other
stars in the heavens.
QUESTION. Would a craft made from completely
differant technology to ours - register
radio-waves?

Guys/gals - I tell you what WAS funny... I
reported my siteing the next day because I
was absolutely gobsmacked by what I had seen,
2 days later I saw this guy inspecting the
grass of the field. I said to him "Are you
here about the U.F.O siteing - he said NO,
I'm the gym teacher, the grass has gone
really soggy here - I think we've got a burst
pipe"! LMAO
(Now would this be another Beam me up Scotty
moment)  |

i think that to believe that we are the only
"thing" out there is narrow minded, of course
other specied arnt going to show themselves
to us they are probably scared that we will
go to their planet and kill it like we have
our own,
the universe is infinate and we have no way
of knowing what it out there, and i doubt in
our life time we ever will,

Martyn I think you've copied & pasted all
that biased propaganda proving UFO's "don't
exist". There's simply too many cases on
record from reliable witnesses like
policemen, airforce/commercial pilots,
politicians, teachers etc to suggest its all
simply mass hysteria being exploited by govts
for their own sinister ends. I agree some
UFO's could be top secret Stealth military
aircraft, but surely this is a classic
"chicken & egg situation" ie: where did all
the new stealth tech come from in 1st place?
The only recorded historical event that fits
all the facts is the Roswell crash (which was
suspiciously denied after the event by the
USAF for national security) which happened
just 1 month after Kenneth Arnolds famous 1st
sighting in June '47, who saw 9 "delta
winged" craft flying in rapid formation over
Washington state, which created the popular
term Flying Saucers. I think these 2 seperate
incidents are strongly linked & someone, or
something was, & indeed still are flying
advanced alien technology above our skies... |

Blithespirit, how do you know? There is no
evidence of UFOs except testimonies. Like
there's no evidence for angels, Jesus Christ,
Queztcoatl or Big Foot. No evidence. I'm
sceptical about UFOs, anyway. |

Im Sceptical about Everything as Bli knows
But then again im open minded and i dont know
all the answers. We can all argue, debate,
talk about all these subjects but the only
way we will ever find out the truth is a)
when we die and we find out if we can
communicate with the living and b) if we are
abducted by aliens and torched and poked lol

I'd love to be a loonytunes but my
intelligence gets in the way
I lived in the Park House mentioned, was in
charge of all the parks in the borough of
several towns where we lived, also the golf
courses & Nature Reserve. I organised huge
music events + always had free passes to all
other music events around the country, I
fostered rescue dogs & got them/cared for
them, until they were well enough to be
re-homed! I used to be also manageress of a
photographic Company, dealt with the "Press"
on a daily basis/famous people etc....
What I'm tryin to say is .... I know which
way my a.ss is pointing up! SSDD (SAME
SH.IT, DIFFERANT DAY) i.e. unfortunately -

Well Martyn my old son you're Dead Wrong if U
think all UFO evidence is anecdotal (or
"testimonial" as U charmingly put it). Fyi,
the famous Roswell case I described earlier
left plenty of "hard" evidence in the form of
strange metallic debris strewn around Mack
Brazels ranch. Which the USAF Very promptly
came & confiscated. Changing the press story
from a "crashed saucer" to a "weather
balloon" within a mere week! Surely creating
suspicious evidence of a govt cover up &
subsequent Conspiracy Theories? Incidentally,
in cases where physical evidence has been
left by a UFO are called Close Encounters of
Third Kind (hence the famous Spielberg movie
based on Hyneks famous book of case
histories). There are plenty more CE3Ks on
record too, if U only search the net & look.
Another famous case is policeman Zamora's
encounter with a spherical UFO & its humanoid
occupants (probably Top Secret experimental
aircraft as Lucylockett surmised) in New
Mexico, Nov 1964. Now if reliable witnesses
like policeman whose evidence is enough to
jail someone are lying, who CAN we beleive is
telling the Truth? |

i would have joined in the thread earlier but
i was abducted by some aliens from planet
zork who took me to a far away galaxy in a
ufo where they removed some of my eggs and
returned me back home
now i never believed in ufos until i started
drinking absinthe (at super strength it does
things to yer mind) im now a firm believer

ridiculed plate tectonics, the KT dino killer
asteroid & global warming until hard evidence

Martyn - of course UFOs exist - but that does
not mean they are extra-terrestrial. The
Stealth Bomber was thought to be a UFO when
being tested over Nevada for nearly 10 years.
See the Belgian UFO Triangle incidents online
- this actually shows Belgian airforce jets
chasing a UFO and failing. Ther are actual
photographs of these triangular objects -seen
throughout the world (including Britain). The
Us have denied responsibility - but they
would wouldn'y they? See also Nick Pope

I have to admit. Area 51 is simply a secret
propulsion/weapons technology testing area -

Onna et al, I must beg to differ over the
Roswell Incident. Its a matter of historical
record that Something indeed crashed at
Roswell, hence the subsequent worldwide media
frenzy over the next few days. However, I
concede whatever that "something" was remains
an elusive mystery which only the USAF, CIA &
the clandestine Majestic MIB organisation
know the real answer too. Area 51 certainly
exists as a "Top Secret test centre for
experimental stealth aircraft" in the Nevada
desert as Socrates generously pointed out.
However, there's also been typical conspiracy
theories (creating a modern myth) that Area
51 also contains the crashed UFO & dead alien
bodies from the original Roswell crash, which
modern Stealth technology is conveniently
based on! |

about military bases testing new technology
by definition needing to be secret to give
them a specific edge in the current Arms
Race. Regarding your points on Area 51 &
Roswell creating modern myths, have U ever
heard of the military term "plausible
deniability?" which conveniently muddies the
conspiracy waters concerning Top Secret
aircraft & UFO's... |

proves is that the US govt is definitely
concealing something ominoulsy clandestine
from the public (even the sovereign US
president suspiciously doesnt have access to
Area 51 fyi!) & why would the govt use
plausible deniability as a media tool to

I can't see what 'conspiracy theory' has to
do with UFOs - a UFO is something flying that
canot be identified - there are thousands!
Area 51 is a real place (bout'the size of
Switzerland with a 6 mile runway) which
no-one is allowed near (try it!) -
this makes it, self-evidently, a secret base
for testing out new technology. So UFOs DO
exist, and so does Area 51. No conspiracy
needed. |

On balance of
civilian/military/photographic/radar &
anecdotal evidence evidently proves that
something unknown has been flying over our
skies since at least the 1940's...Hence the
populist media term UFO's. Whether their
aliens, balloons, ball lightning or Top
Secret Aircraft is frankly irrelevant. I
personally beleive that their future time
travellers in the form of cultural
historians, or thrill seeking time tourists
like so many sf novels have surmised...which
makes as much (or indeed as little) sense as
any other "crazy" theory out there... |

Onna - I agree - the so-called 'Roswell
Incident' was merely a US experiment gone
wrong - I seem to remember a US Air Force
Commander saying so in a TV documentary on
Area 51 - the UFO explanation took the
spotlight off what they were doing. However,
the 1980s Belgian Airforce incidents take a
lot more explaining. |

mention the Rendlesham Forest incident in
Dec, 1980 Socrates. Which was witnessed &
audio recorded by several USAF security
patrolmen & was officially military
classified info.by US/British authorities
until 20 yrs later? Lets all concede
somethings happening which the authorities
just don't want the public to know... |
