if you're looking for basic and do not know a
lot about web design/scripting such as html
then i suggest just googling free website
hosting because a lot of the time they will
host you for free and then give you possible
templates that you can easily edit.
you could check out (one dot com) there doing
a really cool deal which will set you back a
huge £9 this gives you a website address and
a hosting package- they have a series of hows
step by step- guides. worth checking out.

theres loads of basic website building sites,
none of which come immediately to mind, but
many of them dont allow adult content and the
ones that do are often laced with spyware and
shhhtuff...
