Have you requested that the nursery put it on
after every change?
There is a chance that the nursery isn't
changing her as frequently as you would when
she's at home.
Also, is she teething at all?
She may not have had nappy rash before from
teething, but that doesn't mean that she
won't ever get it.
Sorry, i can't think of any other reasons -
but hope that i may have helped some

It could be thrush - but again that's usually
only brought on by teething.
Take her to the doctors/health visitor and
get hert checked out - better to be safe than
sorry.

hydrocortisone will do nothing for it if its
a thrush type infection. Anyway, why do you
want to go putting steroid cream on a baby?

Leave the nappy off at home if you can. Maybe
different wipes arent helping?

Maybe nursery is keeping your good nappies
and changing her into crap nappies?

Old remedy is to leave nappy off and whisk up
an egg white and rub it on. this forms a
barrier between the rash and the air and
helps it to heal, but best thing is go to the
docs.

hi thanxs all ,been to see doc,he says it
thrush and given us cream for her bottom and
drops for her mouth,he says likely that she
got it off one of the kids at nursery,he said
it spreads easily and if kids share dummies
or if the toys have been in an infected kids
mouth, says i should talk to the nursery and
ask how they clean toys etc..and to ask if
any other kids have it,,How do i ask
them??without sounding like im blaming them??
