blithespirit Date: 2008-03-13 Time: 14:51:45	Its about time you were all reminded the paranormal isn't just about ghosts! So here goes...Back in 1964, renowned russian astronomer N. Kardashev proposed a radical new scientific theory trying to empirically provide evidence of intelligent ET's in the universe based on their civilisations energy consumption. These were conveniently divided into 3 types: a Type 1 uses all the energy resources of its own world (where we're hopefully heading now...), Type 2 uses all the resources of its solar system, eg: Dyson Spheres, Type 3 uses the resources of an entire galaxy, & consumes stars as we consume disposable batteries! He also suggested that astronomical phenomena such as red giant stars, supernova, pulsars & even black holes could sometimes have been deliberately engineered by advanced alien civilisations which our current technology level is just too primitive to detect, & which we naively assume is natural phenomena. So what you all think of his theory?

As he tends to investigate controversial scientific subjects...& Andrea & Lucky appreciate your comments & opinions agreeing the paranormal covers a wide range of subjects...

But your right again Silver old son there was def a Dyson sphere featured in a next gen episode (are U sure U aint a secret trekkie btw?) in which the enterprise found Scotty living on the surface of an abandoned one! Can't remeber episodes title tho...anyone got any suggestions bout that?
