nickesaurus_rex Date: 2008-02-15 Time: 19:34:23	does anyone watch any american tv shows? with the strikes on i have been bored brainless at the lack of stuff on tv and have been watching stuff i usually wouldn't look at and boy did i find some hidden gems! Pushing Daisies is a wonderfully quirky show with zany sense of humour, Chuck is funny and witty and the storylines are ace! Moonlight is also rather good if you liked Angel (and dont mind the similarties), Gossip Girl is also amusing but not sure if they are gonna do a second season, have you seen any of them? what did you think? I have also tried Reaper but found the whole arc to be rather repetitive (maybe i'm just hard to please lol)

I love Lost, 24, The Sopranos and now I'm watching "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". Quite liked the 2 CSI series for a while but I've gone off them now. Too much of a good thing I suppose.

chris20 Status: Admin Date: 2008-03-08 Time: 20:42:45	Oh God!! I forgot one of the best... Heroes. That was amazing. I saw about 12 episodes of the first series. Not sure why I missed the last few episodes. So annoying! Same happened with 24 and Lost. Need to buy them all on DVD.

nickesaurus_rex Date: 2008-03-11 Time: 15:57:31	yeah, it was at the end of that ep, she says "Aaron" with the blond boy but he looks about 2 or 3 so how much time has passed? and i dont think Claire would give him up so she must die! lol, there is so many possibilities! i've also heard a rumour that the other 2 from the Oceanic 6 is gonna be Sun and Jin (only from other fans though!)

Season 4 was planned (prior to the the Writers Guild of America strike) to feature 16 episodes, to be broadcast beginning in the U.S. and Canada on January 31, 2008. Due to the writers' strike, the season will instead last only 13 episodes, consisting of the 8 pre-strike episodes already filmed, and an additional 5 post-strike episodes currently being filmed. The show will go on a 4 week hiatus after the conclusion of the 8th episode and return April 24. Although the season will be down by three episodes, executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have announced they will be added and fitted into the remaining fifth and sixth seasons. hope this clears it up, the strikes have messed up loads of shows over the pond, it's the same with desparate housewives and scrubs which might not even be finished on tv!

People are even adopting that coca-cola English, now commonly using words like 'butt' or 'ass' 'whatever' - it stinks of US social colonialism. I'm also sick of American films - filmed in America - with American accents - and American themes! Theyr'e so insular they don't realise 95% of the worlds population are NOT yanks! They expect the rest of the world to actually like American 'Football' or Baseball or even Netball - wot a load of sh*te! No wonder the majority of US citizens don't own a passport - for them the world ends at Alaska or Mexico. So there!

(he has visions of George Micheal) very good programme, i am on ep 10 woo!

(maybe not such a bad guy?) but i think he maniplulated sayid to get him on his side, i think old smoky is some sort of defence system for the island hence it not touching the non army looking guys! and yes, sawyer was as wonderful as ever in going for claire lol, what a hero, he's my fav, can you tell?

They reconstruct real life murder scenes and 2 teams of 3 people have to try and figure out who commited the crime using the evidence available and come up with a motive too. Bit gruesome at times as the bodies used look frighteningly realistic with their stab wounds and burns. Can't help but wonder what the families of the victims involved make of the show.
