Losing weight when already slim |

I'm 27, 6' 2" and weigh 83kgs, my build would
be described as slim but I am broad
shouldered.
My hobby is karting and to make the minimum
weight of both driver and kart combined I
need to lose about 3kgs.
My diet could be described as poor, I can eat
junk food and the weight takes a long time to
go on - over the last few days I have cut
back on the large portions of food and I have
almost stopped drinking alcohol (maybe 2
small cans per week with dinner.
I'm now eating salads and more fruit whilst
drinking water instead of fizzy drinks, I
walk my dog twice a day and play squash at
least once per week.
Am i going about this the correct way?
I'm still eating white breads at the moment
and i'm looking to go to wholemeal when I run
out of white.
I have a bike but i'm not using it at the
moment through a lack of time, I have a
fairly busy and active life - would this be
an essential exercise item?
If anyone has some dietry advice or maybe
some exercise tips then that would be great.
I do have a little pot belly from the food
and the beer, i'm sure a couple of kilos
could come from there.

i would be classed as slim too
but yet i want to lose weight
my mum always has a go at me about it though,
telling me i don't need to lose weight ^__^
but anyways, well i think you're going the
right way about it
but what i think you should try is Weight
Watchers. apparently everyone that's been on
it says it works, even slim people have said
it too! it's so easy, it's no fad diet and
you can eat whatever you want as long as it's
the suitable amount and you can STILL lose a
lot of weight.

best way to lose weight is to cut out the
crud food obviously but just dieting isnt the
best way you need to do exercise as well 20
mins a day is good. running is probably
better than cycling as cycling shortens your
calf muscles so you cant stretch as much (if
you need to :p)but you need a decent pair of
running shoes or you can screw your shins and
shin splints hurt! or if you dont want to go
out just do shadow boxing for 20 mins or
until your pooped. and make sure you do
strecthes after it makes it easier the next
time round and you wont be as stiff.
dietry wise you can get loads of diets off
the net |

Do more cardiovascular stuff.Like running
swiming cycling.Or a good one is get a black
bag cut hole for head and arms put it on with
just your underware on.Get a skipping
rope,and skipp at a fast pace.Throw the bag
away after this lol. |
