I grew up with boxing, my bro's an ex boxer +
now trainer - I was my bro's sparring partner
when I was a kid coz I was a gymnast, fast on
my feet & could take a good punch due to a
6ft odd psycho father (take a punch off him -
you can take a punch off anyone) I know
Khans an ok guy via my bro who's "salt of the
earth" & knows everyone in the boxing game!
Khans still in London tonight but ALREADY he
& my bro are raising money for kids boxing
clubs around the regions. The community
centre in my home town up North was knocked
down a few yrs ago so my bro's running a club
there in a leaky old wooden scout hut - ENUFF
SAID & how about some pride in our country -
seems we don't have enough of it these days!

allowed to train/box in a club anymore DUE TO
HEALTH & SAFETY!?! Yeh thats really gonna get
them off the streets young enough to change

and u are all right in saying that, a la
audrey h (who got a payout from the met
police for being assaulted! if u cant take a
hiding from a copper how u gonna become a
world champ?), his fights are carefully
selected. he fights those great journeymen
of boxing, who put their heart and soul into
it but dont have the real talent to go all
the way.
ricky hatton sadly, came up against a skilled
craftsman and came unstuck. our best (even
tho im english) is calzaghe, a truly great,
tho relatively low profile boxer
