Ice
Grit
Oil
Rain
Flooding
Cold
Wind
Pfft!!
I'm finding out just how crappy it is to have
2 wheels in late Autumn.
So much grit on the roads the past 2 days.
Half a tonne on some roundabouts and
junctions.
Bloody
nightmare!
(not literally bloody though - thank God!)
This is only late Autumn as well. Christ
knows what it'd be like in Winter.
I defo won't be finding out, that's for
sure.
Are you a brave / slightly deranged biker and
carry on riding through Winter or do you put
the bike in a garage and use a car or heaven
forbid... public transport?
Any Winter riding horror stories to tell? |

Some of the guys put the two wheeler on the
back of a small pick up truck than tie it
down. When traffic jams get out of hand they
drop the bike and dump the truck ,than come
back latter after traffic dies down to
retrive the pick up truck. A little winter
fun sort of a thing! |

I ride my bikes gsxr750 in the dry or damp
days and the Triumph speed triple 955cc it
has fairings on it which is good for riding
in all weathers and its faster than a suzuki
bandit 1200 in the right hands lol i've rode
bikes in snowy weather,hailstones,fog,thunder
and litghtining and the [censored]ie rains
,frost, icy roads it's all an experience of
course driving a car is good but bikes are
much more fun even if you suffer a bit of
frostbite lol. |

hi all
if you dont ride in all weathers you will
never learn to ride in it ,you dont ride the
same in all conditions and as a biker your
always developing your road craft.
and always ride for yourself no one else. |

What mille said is true if you don't try it
out.Because at some point you may get caught
out by the weather it does happen.Driving at
night on a bike is alot different than
daytime and this catches out some people who
aren't used to driving in the dark. |
