I heard they are getting together to do
another concert...what are the chances of it
being over here! 
so is it for real....or is it ain't? and how

dunno zog...I have only got back to a
computer this evening so I thought I'd ask
you info people who do a google or even have
a ticket! I did hear it was £125 a ticket..so
who the flook has got one?

I seen them at knebworth and that was a
blast...I hope page can still pluck his
chicken...it sounds though that they will
have a whole orchestra ensemble with them in
case they fall off there crutches!
Naaa! joking...I want to see them
again...just as I want to see ac/dc
again.....the blarstards get over here! |

The surviving members of legendary rock group
Led Zeppelin have announced that they will
reunite for a star-studded tribute concert in
London.
The show, being organised in memory of the
late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun,
will mark see singer Robert Plant, guitarist
Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones’ first
performance for 19 years.
Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, who died in
1980, will be replaced by his son Jason.
"During the Zeppelin years, Ahmet Ertegun was
a major foundation of solidarity and accord,”
the BBC quoted Plant as saying.
"For us, he was Atlantic Records and remained
a close friend and conspirator. This
performance stands alone as a tribute to the
work and life of a longstanding friend," he
added.
The show will take place at the O2 arena on
November 26. Its tickets will cost £125, and
be available to those who register on a
dedicated website, ahmettribute[censored].
The tickets will be limited to two successful
applications per household.
The Led Zeppelin concert coincides with the
release of a new two-CD best of compilation
of their music, Mothership, on November 13.
Profits from the show will go towards
scholarships in Ertegun's name in UK, the USA
and Turkey, the country of his birth.
"He would be very proud that Led Zeppelin
have chosen to reunite and headline a benefit
concert in his name featuring so many of his
friends. I would like to thank all of the
artists for their generous contribution to
help make Ahmet's vision a reality," his wife
Mica said.

Zog i'm not a fan really a bit too young i
guess.
I have said hello to R Plant as he's a wolves
season ticket holder and i seen him at Bolton
about 6 years ago...when i was mad enough to
go to watch footie.
I can appreciate why people like them..but
not me really.
I'm being provocative that's all! |

more rock revelations???? OK Dave Hill of
slade is the next door neighbour of a
colleague of mine at work, he lives in
Wolverhampton too. My builder who is a guitar
player...says he still has a room of very
expensive guitars, which he'll need to sell
soon!
