I like holidaying in England. Been with my
folks to a few places, but like going on
weekends away with mates, most of whom are
all over now.
A few old uni friends are planning to rent
somewhere over the summer which should be a
laugh. Also got a stag weekend coming up in
Leeds.
There's a competition for a champagne balloon
flight on the Enjoy England (dot com) site.
Just put down my perfect weekend, but not
sure it's quite what they'd be looking for!
Where in England do you like to visit? I've
not visited many places up north. Where would
people recommend? The Lake District or
Yorkshire Dales look like they're worth
exploring.
Taken the plunge and booked me and my gf a
week away in the Lake District in June.
Hoping we get a decent summer here this year
though or I'll be in trouble!
Where would you recommend to visit in and
around Newcastle? I've got a friend up there
who keeps badgering me about going to see
her, as she always ends up coming down here!
