Do you prefer Radio 1 or Radio 2?
I must be getting old as I prefer the latter.
So many of the Radio 1 presenters are just
annoying!!! Plus there's way too much rap for
my liking. |

I never listen to Radio 1 and only
occasionally Radio 2.
If you're on the east side of the country why
not try Aero Rock Radio where the djs hardly
ever speak - they just play music. It's on
675mw but, unfortunately, not available in
stereo except on cable.
Why do Brit and American djs talk so

Not sure if this is true but one of the radio
stations in my area (Beat 106) said it played
the most music allowed by law.
I'm wondering if there's limits on how much
music UK based radio stations can play now.
Anyone know if there is a limit?
Will be total madness if there is. |

I think you're right about 'maximum allowed'
Chris, but Aero broadcasts from Holland,
that's why you can only get it in the East.
I've picked it up really clearly in Kent
Essex, Suffolk, Cambs etc all the way up to
Dundee. Less well further inland Sussex,
Herts, Beds, Leics, Notts etc... |

I listen to BBC Radio Leeds its certainly got
younger recently they seem to have poached
local presenters for their new line up.

on the whole BBC radio is very good. the
problem is radio 1 is restricted to play what
is popular. as what is popular at the mo' is
total crap, that means that BBC R1 is in the
same vain...daytime anyway. their evening
line is very good |

Didnt even no they were still going, used to
go to the radio 1 roadshows they were good
for a laugh and the competitions were great!

Im a Radio 1 addict lol. I never have any
other station on apart from when football is
on when its Xfm
Theres all sorts of things in contracts and
everything about music though lol. I listen
to Scott Mills when i get home from work and
its in his contract his name has to be
mentioned atleast 6 times a show (i think its
6) and a few days ago there was one where (on
radio1 atleast) Radio1's big weekend had to
be mentioned in every link. So im sure theres
something about how much music can be played
