Roots at Somerset

Hey people. I'm coming from the US next
month and trying to get tix to the Roots show
in London on 7/19. If anyone knows the
protocol in the UK for getting tix to sold
out shows, I would forever be in your debt.
Also - if there is a forum for buying/selling
tix, I'd be grateful as well.

Thanks! Email: mikeyuscavage@comcast.net

getting tickets for sold out festivals

Ebay, lots of tickets go on there but i must
warn you, in many cases its illegal. Not
illegal to sale or buy tickets from Ebay but
illegal to use them. Tickets seen on Ebay by
organisers of Glasto for Glasto have had the
tickets removed from the database so when i
get there (if your bought a ticket from Ebay
or similer sites) your'll find you wont be
able to get in.

This is similer for other festivals....

um....

next best bet and IS legal is listening to a
radio station covering a festival as they
normaly have compertitons with tickets.

the BBC is the main broadcast media partner
at Glasto this year (as always) so BBC Radio
One has been giving tickets out this week.
The RSL station at the event wont be as thats
for people already at the festival. Not sure
if the station I worked for is there this
year like last time tho.

um...

But in general, if its been sold out, then
its sold out.

ps. Roots at somerset...?! not sure if i know
of that one and i live 5 miles away from the
somerset border!... Is that the small version
of Glasto done by a different people on a
different site near by as i thought that was
called something different...
