before i start i need to say dont worry gk
this thread is not about the account you
recomended me for this is about my mates
account which i am still using until i have
got all the downloads i have started
ok i had a nat problem and switched the
upload speed really low to get a reasonable
dload speed and i also had to reinstall
windows at 1 point losing loads of incomplete
dloaded files(not understanding at the time
about share raio's and obviously corrupting
all those files before i had upped them)
he is now at 0.53 upload ratio
to try and sort it i have set d/load in
azureus to 1kb/s and u/load to unlimited ,
and followed all the tips for being a
generous seeder in the queue options in
azureus .
azureus d/load ratio was .49 (in the red)
i have managed to get it up to 0.645(yellow)
and it is obviously rising still but demonoid
hasnt changed and i have read that the ratio
in azureus may not make any diff in demonoid
is this true or is it just that demonoid
hasnt updated becuse of the bank holiday?
if this wont bring ratio in demonoid up then
what will?
is this ratio enough to get my mate banned?
now that i have set all queuing options to be
generous is it safe for me to start
downloading again or will this push the ratio
back down?
azureus says im upping about 40 kbs but i
only see about 10 on the screen which is
correct?
(i am now only seeding stuff that is in the
d/loading box as all the stuff in the upload
box has completed due to the queueing setting
i am using)
should i change the queuing settings so
torrents dont complete until after the prob
is sorted?
