bob was excellent at stand up... I'm trying
to find video or audio reference of one of
his jokes - "I always thought I'd die like my
father, quietly in his slee., Not like his
passnegers, screaming and terrified". Does
anyone know which dvd or video it might be
on, or where I can find a clip of him
delivering it? |

quietly in his sleep. Not like his
passengers, screaming and terrified" |

''When i was trying to decide what to do
for a living i said i wanted to be a
comedian,everyone laughed. Well they're not
laughing now! '' Such a brilliant
self-deprecating line,i've always thought he
was
underrated
I worked as a gardener at a national trust
place for a while and while researching the
history of the property i found that a film
was made there called 'An Alligator called
Daisy' in which Bob Monkouse made a cameo,
alongside Donald Sinden and Diana Dors |

I really liked Bob Monkhouse
It was really sad-those adverts where he was
speaking from beyond the grave
creepy |
