i'm sara,and i have a big problem..since i
've been here in england i've started do be
bulimic i think because of my "job"
(oupaire)..i have to stay all day at home and
acan't hold this anymore...but i have to
restsi for 1 month..can u give some sdvice
hou to excape from bulimia?i'm disperate.. |

apparently it is a disorder. google it or go
to the doctors. be careful though as it might
go on your record as a mental disorder. make
sure it goes as eating disorder. plenty
places can help you
i recently stumbled across a few pro
anorexia/bulimia sites and they are not
helpful in the slightest. they are a
[censored]ing disgrace to be honest |

the Pro-ana sites, you must remember some of
the arguments they have caused on this forum
in the past. I agree they are a disgrace.
I agree with apapa though, if you do go to
your GP, (which you should) make sure its put
down as an eating disorder, you dont want to
be saddled with a diagnosis of a mental
illness, especially when you are working with
children. |

personaly u can not be to her telling
her its waste of food, she is not well, she
needs help n she resorted to coming on here
for help n we should b here to help her, we
waste food everyday from the crisps u leave
in the bottom of the bag to the food from ur
dinner, so to say that she is wasting food is
rediculous, if u need help gurl, like some
people said go doctors, get the proper help u
need, becoz comin on here will not help you
becoz some times u get low life people who
hve not been in a poision of desperateness,
or depression, they have not experienced wot
ur feeling therefore they cnt judge or
comment, but remember wot ever ur doin , ull
b ok, jus seek the right help n find friends
n go out, i no its easier sed the dun, but it
WILL b worth it! keep smiling gurlie |

Heya,
Bulimia is a serious issue. You've been under
loads of stress and are probably homesick
(but i don't want to make assumptions) which
probably triggered your bulimia but wouldn't
be the cause of it. I've had bulimia since I
was 14 and believe me it will only get worse,
not better. You need to get help, because it
gets harder to stop the longer you do it,
please don't just think it will go away.
Treatment is really expensive so when I had
to quit I got told to go to OA (overeaters
anonymous) meetings which apparently is fine
for anyone with any kind of eating disorder
to go to, I haven't gone yet as I'm only 16
right now so can't drive for a few more
months but I'd say it's probably worth a
try.
