In my opinion, Cech is more important to
Chelsea than John Terry for the simple reason
that when you have a goalkeeper who dominates
the six-yard line, it gives the rest of the
team so much confidence
and summer the diff btw a boat+ship,is u can

There are two obvious contenders, Henry and
Martins. Now im a newcastle fan so im bound
to be biased but i truely do believe that
Martins was better. He was running away from
goal with a defender right on his back back
and he was also off balance. How he hit it
that hard when the ball was behind him as
well is unbelievable. Absolute rocket.
Watchin MOTD on saturday night Lineker and
the gang were sayign that Henrys goal was
amazing etc. I disagree, im not sayin it
wasnt a good goal but weve all seen him do
better then that. The build up play was
brilliant though to watch him and Fabregas (i
think) run the length of the pitch with 6
blackburn players surrounding them. I would
like everyones oppinion on whos was better.

Triffle:U said Henry ran almost the full
length of the pitch making his goal better
and claim not many people can do that. What
you forget is that Martins is one of the few
who can do it and has done it in England.
That is actually the strength of his
game-running at defenders. Food for thought,
Martins is a better player at 22 than Henry
ever was. Someone who can keep Crespo,
Adriano, Ibrahimovich, Cruz out of the team
sheet must have been doing something right.
With a good supporting cast he will do
wonders in the EPL as it suits his
game.

Henry's goal was fantastic but I didn't
really see the 'teamwork' in it.
He ran from 45 yds out, did a quick 1-2 pass
with Cesc, and then through amazing
individual skill, looped it in the top
corner.
Neither Cesc nor Freidel had any idea he was
going to shoot first time from Cesc's lay
off.
It was 95% Henry 5% team IMO.
Still as good/great as the others but no more
a team goal either.

I actually think Benayoun vs Martins is a
better contest for goal of the weekend. I'm
an arsenal fan but in all fairness Blackburn
put no pressure on Henry really. Good finish
but not as amazing a goal as motd make out.
Benayoun's was such a deft finish and
Martin's was just a thunderbolt. Fair play
he's a really really good player. I know
Newcastle are still feeling the loss of
Shearer but Martins in a different way should
be a top player for them. If Newcastle get
rid of a bit of dead wood like Luque, add
some better central defenders and keep giving
their talented youngsters a chance then they
could be a top 5 side again like they were a
few years ago.

Martins goal was an excellent individual
finish (a lot of power, accuracy), while
Henry's goal was a great team effort - a
perfect counter attack, pace, passing and
deadly shooting accuracy. Hard to call but
team play brings extra quality.
Anyway in my opinion Van Persie's rocket
against Charlton is so far the goal of the
season (unbelievable goal), although one of
Matthew Taylor's goals comes very close.

Imagine that Cech fabs is a certain lampard.
We wouldn't have been talking abt Henry's
goal now. Lamps would have shot the ball as
soon as he received it from Henry but Cech
returned the pass with a perfectly weighted
ball right into the path of henry who took a
shot right away. Sounds like team play to
me.
In Martins case, he was off balance, took a
touch away from goal before rocketing the
ball past Robbo.

very poor defensively against Birmingham in
the FA Cup.
West Ham were a little unfortunate to draw
3-3 with Fulham and they have to start
picking up points away from home.
Prediction: 1-1
Liverpool v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
Chelsea are unbeaten in 14 games, but we all
know things aren't well. There's no John
Terry and there is probably no better time to
play them.
After their last two home performances
against Arsenal, Liverpool will want to
produce some sort of reaction and I dnt feel
they can notch a rare win against one of the

When Arsenal won at old Trafford earlier in
