I downloaded an update for Windows Media
Player (version 11) last week and for some
reason the song information isn't displayed
now.
Any ideas? |

gee, my video seetings wont work. does
microsoft make anything that work? i move the
settings but then they just move back
automatically. microsoft refuses to stand
behind this product. can somebody help me? |

RIGHT YOU TUBES LISTEN!!!
i have downloaded the windows media 11 also a
while ago....
I have lost decriptions of albums but not
all, only a few songs per album....
media 11 looks great and for me very
good...... but classic is better still....
AS FOR VIDEO... windows media 11
does not have all the codecs required to play
movies... for this you will have to download
a codec bundle.... which can be sourced on
the net....
most vid files nowadays are ripped into MPEG
4 formatt AVI..... windows does not hold this
codec.or just evalution pack...
two words DIVX bundle.......
if you download two many codecs on to PC you
risk , messing up the palyer so it won't
play... go to my computer and remove all
codecs.. then reinstall
the best player out there is infact a player
called VLC player..
doesn't look as great.. but i have never
found a file it can't play...
any problem google it!!!!!!!!!!!! or go to
techie site

i have media player 11 and recently it has
stopped playing video playback on m.s.n, can
get sound just no visual.
can get visuals on you tube, myspace etc and
can play own videos, just not playback on
m.s.n
with advice from microsoft i eventually
reinstalled player 11 but it still has same
problem.
anyone else experiencing similar?

I tried Moijo but it's being a right stubborn
piece of rubbish.
Annoying not being able to see the song title
when the player is in skin mode. 
Microsoft quality.  |

i downloaded media player 11 onto my old
laptop and had these probs too but i havent
downloaded it onto this laptop even though it
keeps promting me why dont you try
unistalling it and re-installing the old one |

I think it's okay now.
I've had to change the skin, not got the one
I liked best anymore but the song titles are
back so it'll do.
