Sunrise
It happens each and every day,
It occurs in its own unique way,
Striking the horizon before setting a sea aflame,
To see it is wondrous, to miss it is shame,
if you hear it’s call and do rise,
It’s sure to bring tears to your eyes,
A whole new way for all to see,
Many years passed and it will out live you and me,
Yet all we do is destroy its heart,
Living out our lives then do part,
If no more it came we’d be surely stuck,
People would pray fingers crossed for luck,
Desolate dreams come true,
Is this the end or can we see it through,
No more worries, no more pain,
Watch out, here cometh the acid rain,
For it to disappear would mean our demise,
Thanks for reading, and to watch out for the SUNRISE…
