About me:
I take greater and more critical interest in higher intellectual realisation, unlike most of the present English populace which is idling its time in pursuit of trends, bargains, text messages, orgasms, fast food, salon tans, 401Ks, football practices, the next episode of Eastenders, season finale cliffhangers, reality TV, et al. My modus operandi is having a forthright, intense personality and mode of expression to kick against the “[Censored]” and the status quo. I talk a lot (but also love to listen), discuss matters with urgency and occasional high volume (which many mistake for either browbeating or arguing) and thrive along the entire spectrum of thought, which makes for contrarianism, fringe viewpoints or devil's advocacy. It's not that I love to argue or like to hear myself speak or any other comfortable tag that people use to label those who are more difficult than the average bear. I just think that dialectic -- verbal and otherwise -- is the engine of progress. Only by putting out our conflicting, controversial ideas can we all come to a greater understanding of one another. Barring all of that, you'll tell me to go“[Censored]” , and I'll laugh in your face.
I'm here to meet gentlemen and ladies who can hold conversations on a multitude of topics without buckling under the strain, feeling persecuted or avoiding wholesale so-called "taboo" topics like religion, (Edited) and politics. |
