| Staff Abuse Policy |
As a chat site, UKChatterbox promotes a friendly atmosphere in the chat rooms, the forums and the profiles. However, there has recently been an upsurge in unnecessary abuse towards members of the team.
We have approximately 120 people in our team, including chat moderators, forum staff, picture validators and administrators. All of them help us out voluntarily, and receive NO money or benefits from doing it - it is done from the goodness of their hearts, and their desire to make this service safe and enjoyable for everyone.
We will no longer tolerate any abuse towards these people. Abuse towards moderators will be reported and severe action will be taken. For staff abuse, you could face a 30 day ban from our service, which will exclude you from any of our functions, including the chat rooms, the website and the messaging system. If you do have any issues with how a chat moderator does their job, you may contact topsy@ukchatterbox.com so that your complaint can be investigated. You must not disrupt the room in order to 'settle scores' with a moderator who you have an issue with.
