UKChatterbox use a comprehensive monitoring and investigation strategy to protect children using our service, which applies to any user under the age of 18. If you have reason to suspect child abuse please report this to query@ukchatterbox.com.

UKCB now have a Hall of Fame for users who have achieved a lot or done something unique on the site! It is a permanent listing and it shows UKCB's recognition for users' habits, trends and actions on the site!
We advise you have a look - it is accessible via the 'Hall of Fame' link on the front page! Recommended!

| Service stability... |
I think it's only right that we apologise for the recent service instability... so here we go (gulps):
UKCB are EXTREMELY sorry for the recent service instability and are EXTREMELY grateful that you all have continued to stick with us regardless of this annoying factor.
You must also realise that these were all events beyond our control - we are doing our absolute best to fix the instability and the new website which we are introducing later this year should solve the instability problem - once again, we thank you all very much for sticking around!

| Your Profile |
Registering a profile is free! Most rooms on the chat service now require a registered profile in order to be able to use them.
You also gain the added advantages of being able to browse the members profile list as well as use the forums.
Please remember that age, date of birth, gender and location information provided when registering a profile must be accurate. Do not place personal contact information such as email addresses, phone numbers etc on your profile. Nor are website addresses allowed.
A word about personal safety:
UKChatterbox strongly recommend that all users of this service read the article entitled Chat Room Safety located in the Chat Room sub-section of the Articles page. Much of this also applies to profiles and forums as personal contact information should never be given out.

Please note the following policies when uploading a picture to your profile:
No naked pictures.
No sexually orientated pictures.
No topless female pictures.
No advertising on pictures.
No bikini clad pictures.
No weapons in pictures.
No gory pictures.
No pictures relating to crime.
No pictures containing swearing, website or email addresses.
No pictures showing support for terrorist movements/activities.
No pictures showing racism or homophobia.
No pictures showing rude or agressive hand/finger gestures.
No pictures showing abuse or violence.
No pictures showing drugs or drug related items etc.
No personal photographs lifted from other profiles.
No pictures for which the copyright isn't owned unless they are in the public domain.
No pictures that would generally be regarded as unsuitable for viewing by juveniles.
No duplicate pictures on profiles.
This is just a quote of our picture policies so you can ensure that your picture is not declined!

| We need your suggestions |
As you may or may not know, UKCB is working on a brand new site with around twice as many features for you all to use.
In order for us to deliver this site, we must have suggestions from our userbase!
If you have any suggestions on features/functions to include on the new site, please contact jackal@ukchatterbox.com with your suggestions. These emails WILL be read and your suggestion WILL be mentioned to our web coder for use on the new site.
Here are our current features that we are planning to implement:
- More picture slots.
- Commenting for pictures, by yourself and others.
- Blogs.
- Guestbooks/comments on profiles.
- Ability to format internal site messages.
- Games.
- More quizzes.
- Far better forum functionality.
- Better block list/buddy list feature.
- More account settings.
- SMS features such as 'notification' text
messages.
- Different profile structure.
- Animated pictures.
- Different fonts on forums.
- Movie reviews, review replies/comments.
- Game reviews, review replies/comments.
We are still adding to this list but we hope to include it all!

| 4/1/07 - UKCB planning new rooms |
The service is planning some new rooms for everyone! We are adding the following along to our list of regional chat rooms for 16 year olds and over:
